Little Lace Romper

First of all, happy first day of summer! It's hard to believe that it's already time to put those jean jackets away, and we're officially in for some serious Kentucky heat in the coming months. This year has seriously flown by. Speaking of the year being halfway over (say what?), I actually hit a pretty huge goal of mine for 2016 a few days ago! I officially have 10,000 BEAUTIFUL people following me on Instagram ... The fact that I accomplished this year long goal in just 6 months is blowing my mind, and to celebrate/thank you, I've put together a pretty huge giveaway that you don't want to miss! Click over here to check it out!

Ok, now onto the good stuff. Y'all know I'm all about keeping things as simple as possible when it comes to my personal style, and rompers like this one make it pretty darn easy! I'm typically a sundress kind of girl this time of year, but as soon as I saw this romper at Target, I knew I couldn't pass it up. Well, that and the fact the wind lately has been insane, and if I accidentally flash one more person in a parking lot while I'm carrying stuff out to my car I might just be arrested.

Coming by this perfect little lace romper wasn't exactly the easiest thing in the world, either. Nothing makes you appreciate a piece of clothing more than having to work for it! The first time around, they were sold out in my size in store, and it wasn't registered online yet. I tried on the navy version, which is equally as cute, but the white lace version with that embroidered pop of color just felt so me ... So, I waited.

I'm more of a "good things come to those who work for it" kind of girl, but in this case, I showed up to Target a few weeks later, and there it was. The romper that I will totally be living in all summer long in MY SIZE. You already know I let out a little squeal of excitement, and immediately started sending photos of it to everyone (and by everyone, I totally mean my husband who could probably care less + my mom) who had already heard my sob story of not being able to find this darn thing in a size medium. It's the little things, am I right?

Well, that's all I have for you today! Shoutout to my crazy talented hubby for these photos, and for dealing with me on a 15 minute speedboat ride from our houseboat into the marina so that we could snap these photos on our vacation last week ... I made my soon-to-be hair stylist of a little sister help me with my hair, so I was not about to let a little wind mess it up before we got proper documentation! How I got so unbelievably lucky with this family of mine, I will never know.
