Emmy's 2nd Birthday
Our sunshine girl is TWO! Emmy is sweet and sassy and definitely a natural born leader. 😂 She talks up a storm, and hearing full sentences come out of her little body amazes me every single day. She is SO smart!!! Em loves her people more than anything, and gets excited about EVERYTHING. We celebrate and hug and high-five a lot in this house. 😘 She’s full of energy, and literally runs everywhere she goes. She asks to watch Tangled (Punzel) and Moana multiple times a day. She can count to 16, sings her ABCs, and makes up sweet little songs all day long just like her mama. She loves to dance, sings ice ice baby every time we use the ice maker, and playing hide & go seek and “puppy” with her daddy is her favorite thing to do. She can’t fall asleep without her BFF Calvin in her arms, and I could go on forever about all of the things I want to remember forever… Em’s the very best parts of me and Sean, and we couldn’t love her more if we tried. We seriously had so much fun celebrating her special day!
We stayed up late the night before trying to put together a balloon arch (failed at that one 😂), wrapping gifts, and getting the house put together for everyone to come over the next day. I say this at every milestone, but this age is my favorite so far. Seeing her little face light up when she saw her birthday decorations all set up… I can’t even describe it. She was literally running around so excited saying “Emmy’s birthday” all day long. Pure joy. 🙌😭
We celebrated her big day full of all of her favorite things… rainbows, unicorns, balloons, flowers, cupcakes, cookies, and surrounded by all of her people. Basically what 2 year old little girl’s dreams are made of. 💛She really did have the best day. We’ll cherish these memories forever.
